Nifty Future Tips Recent Update -Fall in Nifty Today

The market may edge lower in early trade on weak Asian stocks. Domestic bourses had hit their record closing highs on Friday, 7 March 2014. Trading of CNX Nifty futures on the Singapore stock exchange indicates that the Nifty could fall 31 points at the opening bell. Asian stocks edged lower on Monday as weaker-than-estimated Chinese trade and inflation data stoked concern over the outlook for the world's second-largest economy.

The 50-unit CNX Nifty also scaled fresh record high in early trade. The Sensex was down 28.62 points or 0.13%, up about 85 points from the day's low and off close to 105 points from the day's high. The market breadth, indicating the overall health of the market, was positive.

The CNX Nifty was down 3.50 points or 0.05% to 6,523.15. The index hit a high of 6,545.10 in intraday trade, a new record high. The index hit a low of 6,487.35 in intraday trade.
